What a waste, as you can already get desktop-class performance in a laptop, from Nvidia, so you don't need to buy a one of these.
This is more geared towards laptops without a dedicated GPU. But you have to figure, a laptop with TB3 would cost probably what $500 minimum? You buy this Devil Box for $420, so now you're at $920. Which would be great! But then you still need a gpu, which if you're dropping the cash for this already, chances are you're going to get a pretty fast GPU to go with it. Now on the other hand, if you're someone that already has a laptop or a Macbook even with TB ports and you want max performance at home or even a lan party, this is a pretty sweet deal. Well, price wise it isn't. What if offers though is pretty nice. I think this is a killer idea, but an awful price. If these external GPU Enclosures keep coming with high price tags, then it's going to turn out being a very niche market. I would buy this at say $200.
