Default The GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 thread - 10-19-2016, 15:10 | posts: 176 | Location: HEAVEN

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti features 768 CUDA Cores. The core comes packed with 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The chip is clocked at 1318 MHz core and 1392 MHz boost frequency which is just around a 250 MHz jump over the GM107 GPU. The texture fill rate of the chip goes up to 84 GTexel/s (almost twice of GM107).The pixel fill rate is maintained at 41.3 GPixel/s that is a good increase over Maxwell. The card should also feature 4 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 7 GHz. This gives us 112 GB/s bandwidth along the narrow 128-bit bus interface.

it will success like gtx 750ti ???

Still hoping they make a low profile version of the 1050Ti.

"AMD Radeon RX 470: Possible price reduction in prospect"

Probably to compete with 1050ti.

In price only. It should out perform the 1050ti.

Ill bet getting one to replace the GTX 650ti 1GB in my nvidia game stream media server rig.

Should be a good upgrade.
I think the X6 1055t@ 3.5 will still be good enough for it.

If AMD drops the 470 within $20 of the 1050ti no one in there right mind would buy the 1050ti. But currently the 470 is in it's own world. Just a touch slower than the 480 and a bit slower still than the 1060 3GB in the majority of games.

The 1050ti may be DOA even at $130.

It redeems itself with its lower power consumption. RX 470 is more expensive in the long run. Also let's see what will happen on release and real life comparison between the cards in game.

Hope at least for the 470 to sell a lot, for it's price tag it's really great performance/$
AMD was losing too much and needs to regain some market share. I generally prefer Nvidia but the market competition it's good for us users

I didn't expect so much difference between 470 and 1050ti honestly

So they put 4GB on this underpowered 1050ti while 1060 have 3GB being so much faster. Nvidia makes no sense.

This card will not be a new 750ti.

It's almost like they thought of releasing GTX 1050Ti few months ago but then they said "Nah scratch that let's just name it "GTX 1060 3GB". Now let's focus on more GPU gimping". And that is how GTX 1050/1050Ti came to existence

1050 ti already in stores in Europe (Estonia). ASUS Expedition GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti costs ... 208€!!! MSI 1050 Ti Twin Frozr VI costs 225€ For the same price you could get RX 480 4 GB. What a joke!

You brought up two possible worst PC ports this year. No wonder it wont run great when devs didnt put any effort optimizing the game.

1050ti will be capable card at 1080p if you are comfortable reducing the settings here and there.

depends on region, in canada you'd be hardpressed to find an rx 470 for less than 250$ cad, and rx 460 less than 150$, you can get a 1050ti for 190$, seems to fill a pretty important gap, really tempted to replace my 6870 right now lmao.
