http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/...88b2900df6.cab

These 16.101 branch drivers appear to be made for bristolridge and stoney ridge apus
as I have found them appear on acer's website aswell specifically for a10-9600p laptops

they are pre-gcn compatible with an inf mod.

Update: appears the only significant difference from 16.101.1611.1002 is a single version increment on the opengl driver version(kernel is newer aswell)

Driver Packs For Pre-GCN cards

Update2:
Created Mixed package for non-gcn, should contain all ids from 16.2.1

released AS-IS, if it breaks something, I am not responsible.
(While ids for switchable and apu graphics are included, I cannot test such configurations, Have no expectation that it will work correctly or that i can help with fixing any issues related to switchable graphics or apus)

Must be installed with diver signature enforcement disabled, if the system has a fresh install of win10 14393+ secureboot may need to be disabled as well.

install as you would any other
crimson/catalyst otherwise,

the package i created should have sumo/wrestler support or is it not working?

I will link the inf alone if that is too your preference.

edit:Ignore that i see that they are missing

did you make sure to boot into win10 with driver signature enforcement disabled?

Also what did the installer log say.

On hd7670m installed fine, without issues. Radeon settings doesn't show up when i'm trying to open it (was working fine on 16.2.1) Driver itself seems to be working fine.

Rainbow six siege works on intel's integrated gpu instead of hd7670m.

So did anyone actually test the performance of the drivers? Any difference between 15.11.1CAT, 16.2.1beta and these drivers?

The difference between 15.11.1 and 16.2.1 will be minimal at best probably less than 1%, only real reason to update is for updated crossfire profiles, radeon settings, and or possible bug fixes,

directx driver dlls are the same between 16.2.1 and 16.101.2901.1001
there is an update to the opengl dlls and crossfire profiles , so unless your playing
opengl games / crossfire and you have issues no point updating unless you like being on the bleeding edge at the risk of bugs.

If i were to recommend a driver it would be the firepro 15.201.2601.1005/15.201.2401.0 drivers since that is
probably the last branch that has any real changes for non-gcn cards and it supports opencl.

I've tried this driver, but Wolfenstein: The Old Blood didn't work with it. There was not such an issue with 16.2.1, hence I got back to the older driver.

great driver set... thx again. The windows update revert thing is getting on my nerves, it should leave the set alone like it did with the last... perhaps installing through devmgr is the answer to that one.

The trick is to edit the INF and make the version number of the driver higher than anything out there. That way WU will not mess with it.

So if the driver is 16.101.2901.1001

Up it to 17.xxx.xxxx.xxxx

OGL driver is newer than official beta. But its slower, i tested. However, after running OGL extension viever, my 5xxx grade non-gc card shows all 4.5 extensions available, only 4.5 shader language missing. I believe 4.5 extensions brings more performance (when used) than general lowered ogl speed.

That is interesting Dan. Are they much slower? You still got any results from the benches?

I tested API test https://github.com/nvMcJohn/apitest benchmark (comapred to older tests) and gpu caps viewer demos looks slower. I dont know if its just like OpenGl extension viewer started to work correctly with this driver and showing extensions. Anyway i see improvement in cemu emulator (small fps speed) which rely on 4.5 extensions. I can upload dlls.

Edit: please test, because i didnt do it extensively, so i may be wrong
