Let me guess, Nvidia have removed this to force you to use their DSR? I use to be able to overclock my monitors refresh rate up to 77, now i cant. Is this driver related or GTX 970 + related? On driver 368.81 SOLVED *snort* Bahahaha! wt.. this just fixed my issue! Thank you soooo much! Thanks man!
I don't know about overclocking, but I have a 48Hz custom resolution defined that works just fine. I use it when watching 24Hz videos.
I immediately had problems with custom resolutions after moving to a 980 from a 570. Could do more than 2x2 with 570. 980 couldn't manage more than 1.5x1.5 Not that it's a bad thing, the filter for custom resolutions was crap. You can effectively set custom resolutions with DSR using DSR Tool, but it's limited in adjustments. If you feel like tweaking the registry and are willing to work with multipliers for the resolution you can follow this post https://forums.geforce.com/default/...768-monitor-on-windows-/post/4899134/#4899134 If you keep ratios like 1.4x1.4 or 2.3x2.3, it's an easy equation. Each of those becomes a decimal of 10,000, 14000 or 23000. Convert that to hex, byte swap it, save it in the registry. Reset the driver and you are done.
