Hello. Is Nvidia now releasing only WHQL drivers? I see the last Beta driver was 358.59 dated 20th October 2015. Dont get me wrong - i dont want beta drivers and im glad if they put out only WHQL drivers. Just wondering...
^ ive seen many countless beta builds since 2015.. beta builds are instantly deleted (normally) when the legit build comes out. so maybe that explains the lack of betas your finding..
If they're deleted so quickly how do you know they are even posted? Link? You use some monitoring addon/software to alert you?
some of the guys here live for this stuff... if there's even a whiff of a beta driver floating around it'll get posted here.
Also nothing prevents NVIDIA to obtain WHQL status for any type of release - beta, final... WHQL just means that MS did test drivers (installation, may be HW acceleration in browser) and drivers did pass those tests.
Only found two: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4086/~/geforce-hot-fix-driver-version-364.96 https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4166/kw/GeForce Hotfix driver Pretty odd for them to distribute these through support answers instead of their main driver site. No wonder i didnt see any beta drivers.
Yah Nvidia started doing this recently.. The hotfix drivers usually only fix specific problems for small number of users so they don't publish it to the main driver site. I'm running the latest hotfix as I have a Gsync monitor which the hotfix fixed the flickering I was getting occasionally in some games.
