old thread: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=399931 Sales List: https://steamdb.info/sales/ Just gathering some info we know so far: - Summer Sale Cards (was there before sale) and badges - Mediocre sale prices - Compelete recommend game queue to get up to 3 cards every day. - No mini games or campaigns so far - No flash sales - No voting for sale and to get cards Crafting game badges will grant you summer sale card. Keep your mind cool and wallet safe, lads!
Oh another thread, yay... btw. Space Engineers in EA for almost 3 years? No thanks. Looking at their version number they are still in EA in 20 years.
Entschuldigung sie bitte. Aber, Wir mussen die Forums spammen :spam: btw, The Swapper is 80% off. One of the highest rated games on steam!
Other one is not dedicated enough. This one is better. This War of Mine : 75% off. Also one of the best rated games on Steam. Highly recommend to check!
The only interesting so far are the bundles where you get more money with trading cards than paid for http://whosgamingnow.net/discussion/6341/new-flipping-bundles-updated/p1
Jet Set Radio 75% OFF but I guess it's better to support smaller merchants https://www.indiegala.com/store/product/205950
Makes me laugh when I see greedy publishers like Koei-Tecmo selling their games at 50-60% off but still with £20-£25 prices on Steam! Go on, get out of here!!! So far I have not bought anything in the Steam sale despite having 77 games in my wishlist. There's just nothing in there that I am desperate to play and it's telling that the stuff I do want, such as the DLC for Project CARS, is NOT included in the sale!!! How old is Project CARS now? I cannot believe that the publisher is not discounting the DLC in the Steam sales.
They think they're smarter than the invisible hand of the economy. Jokes on them, I never buy DLC... At some point, Publishers will neuter Steam sales so much, they won't mean anything, and then Publisher will complain their sales are down... uke2: I think, as annoying as Flash sales were, Steam needs them.
Flash sales or daily sales. They don't do either anymore. All it has now are "Daily Highlighted Deals". They are the normal sale prices... just picked out and advertised. It's just kind of disappointing now. The huge draw of the STEAM sale was getting games for next to nothing, now... the sale prices are kind of bleh. Hell, even things like Skyrim and it's DLC... are more expensive this sale then it's been for the past couple of years worth of sales. And they've only done that because of the Special Edition coming out later this year.
Yup. Steam sales have become very disappointing! All the major games I want from my wishlist are only 50% off tops. Was hoping 66% or 75% for some of these AAA games. Meh! These are the kind of deals I see year round at GMG or CDKeys. Not much reason to get excited anymore about Steam sales twice a year.
Only 35% off new tomb raider? Weak ... These sales are the best they're going to get, right? With the dailies only being "featured".
Yep most likely due to the new refund system. That or a ton of people complained that they missed the flash sale and were forced to watch Steam every day, every few hours.
