    NICE REVIEW MAN!

The 1070 looks great, it also looks like 980Ti will not collapse in price just yet which is pleasant for us 980Ti owners.

When the cards at MSRP actually hit shelves this will be great value proposition

The 1070 pulls out some impressing numbers and will be a nice upgrade for anyone with a 980 or lower. It's going to be a very popular card.

    Thanks for the review HH.

It looks like it's an awesome card for the value. I'm not sure I'll be running out to get one at $380 very quickly, but a nice card nonetheless.

Awesome card! Great prices for that performance I feel. Wonder what it'll cost in the UK! Perhaps around £400. Looks to be a very good card for 1440p

GeForce GTX 1070 Founders edition is tagged at GBP 399. However the cheaper board partner cards should be 40~50 pounds cheaper.

So at max OC it can't surpass 1418mhz 980ti, e.g. Firestirke gpu score 19995, as expected.

Ok card, but 500€ no thanks. Even if I still had my old 780gtx I would think hard before buying this stock version.

Great review as always Hilbert. Price to performance ratio this video card makes a lot of sense , i like that :) . Founders Edition is not worth it that price premium and we know the really good designs of this card will come from the AIB partners soon and those are the ones to grab if you really are in the market for one of this video cards.

Yep, awesome card. In some troublesome DX12 titles that hampered Maxwell vs AMD (Hitman, AOTS), Pascal does much better. As more DX12 titles come out, will be interesting to see how Maxwell keeps up.

Hilbert, is there a problem with the TitanX on the Hitman 4k bench or just a typo?

    Looks like a great card

    HH i have a question:
Do you re test every card in all those games with the new drivers to compare it to the 1070, or do you use old benchmark results?

Because i heard that AMD benchmarks improved a lot in Fallout 4 1.3

PS: sorry for my broken english

Very good performing card. This is a card to get indeed. It does improve quite a bit in dx12 tittles.

Maxwell will only slip behind more and more in the future.

thanks HH great review as always, the AIB realese would definitly be a great upgrade from the GTX 980 lower, me keeping my 980 TI, guess upgrading the mobo is a priority right now:nerd:, who knows maybe Nvidia will actully realise a TI by the end of the year and may we dream of HBM2 by then who knows.
again great review for a a very nice performing card.

Nice review. Makes my choice really hard.... what I am wondering is if anybody knows

    1) How the two cards perform in regards to surround and
    2) What games are going to be/planning to be supporting the new SMP tech on these cards.... Good thing still have a few days to decide......
