    with all these new 27" and up 1080P full HD monitors, is it just a budget friendly trend or is it an agnolgment that the current hardware for most of us is not trully ready for the UHD and th big 4K, what say you all gurus out there?:nerd:

    I still see no point in a curved 16:9 that isnt 4k and 34+ inches.
    21:9 is where its at for curved imho.

    I just want bigger dedicated monitors, i got Philips 40Inch 4K now and im getting Samsung 48Inch 4K TV, I want HDR, 10Bit and big size, they dont make PC monitors with HDR yet

    I think the average consumer doesn't know anything about the different resolutions available and probably doesn't care either to be honest. That being said even if I weren't into computers as much as I am 27 inch 1080P screens look horrible for text.

    Thats funny while u say that because i had a 1440p asus ips panel before and i must say 27 inch @ 1440p the text is just to small they loose detail and gets a bit fuzzy, i think the perfect screensize for 1440p is 32 inch on a glossy panel.

    1080p on a samsung 27 inch screen is really sharp and colorfull.
