That's the question. I can get it at very decent price. I'm asking because the "magestic" pascal is here but still have no idea on what's going to be price and performance of GTX1060.

P.S. Wrong thread. Please move it Administrator, sir.

As far as forum sections go, there is a generic NVidia section. This is typically for drivers.

Either way, it comes down to money. I would say at MSRP it's not worth it right now if you can wait, but what is the 'decent price' you have? If we are talking $100 (USD) then I would say you are pretty risk free.

Yeah I wouldn't say that's a good deal. Maybe for where you live it is, but $180 is the going price for a new one Newegg.
If you can wait, I would see what the 1060 offers.

Would not buy a 960 at this point it time. it's one of the weakes x60 releases from nvidia and the gap between it and the 970 is just too big to be considered a good deal.

It's best to wait, unless you have some specific, non demanding, already released games in mind that you plan on playing a lot.

I'd buy an "used" one not a new card: you can reach 970 performance with a 960sli (maybe a bit more in more SLI-Optimized games)..It is a good upgrade for FullHD if you pay 100$ or less but not more
In every case just wait a month: NEW CARDS = LOWER PRICE FOR OLDER GEN

960 was never worth it. Its overpriced and underperforming card.

Wait for 1060 or Polaris equivalent.

4GB 960 is a fine card which perform on the same level as competition for the most part. But at this point it's better to wait for Pascal/Polaris cards as they will surely be better.
