Out of all the "leaked" AIB cards this AMP! Extreme one looks the most impressive so far.

Custom made PCB , good air cooler , 8 pin + 6 pin power connectors and i am sure there is a good beefed up VRM and power phase delivery on this card , that's the way to go for this video cards GTX 1080  , i like it.

The IceStorm Fans with Carbon ExoArmor is the same as on my 980Ti. Which is a good thing really,it's probably one of the most solid aircoolers i have seen so far. It will be heavy and bulky both totally worth it. lol

I would of never bought this brand before but recently they have been on my radar and seem to produce some really nice products with decent looks and aggressive pricing.

My GTX 970 AMP! Extreme has 2x8 pins, perhaps Pascal requires less additional energy for overclocking.

I'm looking for some GTX 1080, and this AMP! extreme looks good, but probably the Gigabyte G1 will be cheaper.

It's good to see that there's not going to be a long period of milking the ref. cards just because of the name change.

Looks great so far, but, the looks doesn't even matter really. It's the power-connectors that's the crucial part that sets it apart.

Either Zotac or Gainward/Palit for me, asus gainward and msi usually tends to be astronomically more expensive in our area

I was about to buy a Palit Jetstream 980Ti actually, seems like a good card, too bad it was pink.

It's weird that they went with a dual fan on the AMP!

The Extreme looks really nice though.

not really. i can slap two 8pin on a 950, doesnt make a 980 out of it.
without a custom pcb/more power lanes to actually make use of it, just having more pins, doesnt do $#!&...

Well, ofcourse, we are waiting for specs aswell. FE cards don't benefit from adding extra power-connector for example. I'm (we're) hoping it does make a difference on these custom cards though, that's the difference.
