I couldn't find the other one anymore, and forgot who had a link to it. So theres been an anime out, that some say it's better then Attack on Titan. Theres only 3 episodes out atm, it's getting better and better! It's called Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, if you haven't already check it out! Summary: Spoiler As the world goes through the middle of an industrial revolution, a monster appears that cannot be defeated unless its heart, which is protected by a layer of iron, is pierced. By infecting humans with its bite, the monster can create aggressive and undead creatures known as Kabane. On the island Hinomoto, located in the far east, people have built stations to shelter themselves from these creatures. People access the station, as well as transport wares between them, with the help of a locomotive running on steam, called Hayajiro. [Ikoma], a boy who lives in the Aragane Station and helps to build Hayajiro, creates his own weapon called Tsuranuki Zutsu in order to defeat the creatures. One day, as Ikoma waits for an opportunity to use his weapon, he meets a girl named [Mumei], who is excused from the mandatory Kabane inspection. During the night, Ikoma meets Mumei again as he sees Hayajiro going out of control. The staff on the locomotive has turned into the creatures. The station, now under attack by Kabane, is the opportunity Ikoma has been looking for.
*fanfare* http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=379524&page=57 google search yo Kabaneri does sound interesting, i'll check out an episode
Ah didn't thought about googling it lol, thanks! Please do, i'm sure you'll like it! i really needed to watch a new anime, also need some that are already finished or have lots of episodes. I was watching One Piece at some time but theres so many episodes, i probably can't keep up.
Kabaneri is awesome, Jojo is awesome and Re:Zero is awesome. Other good stuff coming out also. But those are awesome.
And Dragon Ball Super is getting better each episode. Can't wait for the next arc. Future Trunks will make a comeback and I've heard rumors about a "black Goku".
The new Macross is a bit slow and awkward. Oh...and most of the music (scoring hits is also Macross tradition) sucks. I miss Yoko Kanno...
Seriously how do they get away with this lol. And omg i died laughing, when Goku talks with that face, so funny haha.
Anime series worth watching If you like dark type setting. 1. Ajin - Demi-Human 2. Mayoiga 3. Boku dake ga Inai Machi 4. Kagewani 5. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
Super has had some subpar animation, but considering Japan's crazy animation demand different animators are constantly rushing with what they're given. It's not like Dragon Ball Z where there were only a select number of animators they used. (In the last picture, that animator pretty much predicted how men would style their hair in the future )
I've been watching Boku no Hero Academia this season, it's actually pretty good. There's a little bit of a twist once you get a few episodes in, I'm surprised I like it as much as I was expecting something pretty generic.
IMO anything by Toei is subpar. Doesn't matter what they do or who there does. If it's from Toei it sucks. By the way, Ryu5uzaku, I'm watching Rokka now. Considering the mist and all "rokka" makes sense indeed. :eyebrows: Sakea sumu -> rokka.
Haha. Rokka was pretty good stuff. And yes I hadn't actually heard that saying before lol had to look it up. @everyone else Boku no Hero Academia is awesome tho there is some good comedic timing there along with good characters and proper animation.
The manga is pretty good. Kind of cool but kind of meh, Iron Blooded Orphans is being dubbed by Sunrise and their partners and will be on Toonami. Which is cool, but recent Gundam dubs like 00 or Seed were not the greatest. In any case Season 2 of IBR is suppose to come in October I believe. So stoked.
Oh more IBR. That is certainly good stuff. I don't watch dubs at all since I've learned to use subtitles since being a kid million years a go So all I've ever seen is the Japanese originals out of Gundams.
Aye. Well, dubs are for kids who can't read or blind people. I'm so glad that they do not dub stuff here in Finland. So subs all the way. Often the dubs can't even get the basic names right which sounds rather painful.
