I have a guy that wants to trade a PC tower for my PS4. Not sure if it's a good trade. The ps4 comes with camera. Gold headset and games. The system specs are below. Its Just The tower only. If you could let me know if this would be a good trade. PC Specs InWin GRone full gaming case Corsair AX860 Platinum PSU Asus M5A99FX Pro Motherboard AMD FX8350 Vishera CPU 16GB 1866 GSkill Ares 2 Module's NZXT X60 280mm Rad NZXT RGB LED Light Kit Controller Blu Ray DVD Writer Reader Asus R9 280X Top Edition NZXT Sentry 3 fan controller. 1TB Black 2TB Green 1TB Green Hard Drive's
Why would he give that pc up for a PS4??? Considering you can do a hell of a lot more on a PC and furthermore those specs can run games at 1080p at 60fps whereas the same games would be 30fps on a PS4.
the psu alone is worth half a ps4, what are you waiting for? worst case scenario you can sell that pc and get a new ps4 + all top games this year
I will definetly check it out, I thought it would be a good deal, Just hate getting home with it and then it stops working.
I know the case, psu & cpu are worth my ps4 easily. I was just leary of how much use it has had, has it been overclocked?
I have not owned and AMD cpu since my X2 4800 ....lol, I have been running intel since then, I went from the i7 920 to the i7 4770k.
Sadly but that FX 8350 is somewhat on pair with i7 920 you mentioned. Still its a capable CPU paired with right GPU (280X is still a good card). Test the PC, run few games, if everything is fine trade it and forget about console gaming.
Your PC is worth a decent amount, at least $500+ (USD). Your case and power supply alone are worth good money. If you want the PS4, that person should sweeten the deal with some money.
Is this just going to be a spare pc? That 8350 is going to look like it's standing still next that 4770k..
I just thought it would be a good deal as I am not really a big gamer, I barley play the PS4 so I thought I would get more use out of this system, plus I am in canada and our prices are higher up here.
Selling the individual parts of that system would already net you more than the PS4. I'd definitely do it, even if the 8350 is pretty crap its worth it.
Who bought the this PC for you? Looks like you didn't realize the value $ you have inside your case! Keep the PC, it's so much more flexible and not to mention more powerful. And slap the other guy for trying to rip you off :whip:
I'm still running the 8350, OCd to 4.8, and I have no issues gaming at 1080p with a 980, mostly maxed settings other than AA sometimes needing lowered
