Intel DH67BL BIOS help needed

Hello fellow gurus!
Yesterday i upgraded the BIOS on a Intel motherboard, the DH67BL, as the client asked us to.It was asked in order to use a i5 3xxx CPU.
Computer was connected to a UPS, the latest BIOS from Intel website, did the flashing from the BIOS itself, got the screen full of upgrading info and BIOS was upgraded ok.
Rebooted...and nothing!And Murphy's law tells me that the owner wants his computer NOW!
Tried all the recovery methods from Intel website, no dice.
I have a BIOS chip programer, the trusty NANO BIOS.I can desolder the chip and flash it.
Problem is the BIOS chip is a MX 25L3206BE, which can hold 4 Mb of info, and the BIOS .bio file from Intel is 8Mb in size.I need a 1:1 file to match the capacity of the chip.
Struggled to find a .bio to .bin converter or to hack the hex out of it , no dice.
So i ask:
Can anyone shed some light in recovering a Intel board ?
Can anyone point me how to convert a 8Mb .bio file to a 4 Mb .bin file?
Where can i buy the pre-programmed BIOS chip , if is the last option?
Buying a replacement motherboard is not an option.

small update.
after a few days of asking around, found out a guy who was kind enough to send a raw dump of his motherboard's SPI BIOS.
now. i flashed it on my chip,which i previously desoldered and soldered on a specific socket and programmed it.Soldered back onto motherboard and booted fine and i was able to acces all BIOS functions, and the motherboard seemed ok.
But there was a small detail of utmost importance.

I had to edit the .bin file i've got with the ME region code from my file which i extracted from the SPI chip,and add the MAC adress for the LAN chip.
Intel boards have specific code for PCH and other stuff that could cause BSOD,overheating and other issues.
Called a friend who is more familiar with this kind of work and he did it for me and added all the details for my motherboard to the file.
Once all was done, programmed the SPI chip one more time with the final .bin file and the motherboard booted fine and i was able to boot into Windows .

The only thing that we weren't able to fix was the on-board LAN .It just didn't showed up in device manager and fiddling around to get it fixed caused headache.
A cheap network adapter solved it and the computer was given back to the client .

tl:dr DON'T UPDATE THE BIOS OF WORKING DEVICES!

ps:i used the NANO BIOS Programmer the LPT version, the USB version works even beter, faster.
the raw .bin file i can upload and send to whom it may help,just ask.
