what do u think taking risks mean in watch dogs 2?http://www.polygon.com/2016/2/11/10966754/watch-dogs-2-ubisoft
I don't think there's too much to think about at this point. I've been playing WatchDogs lately and while some parts are fun, the driving is really horrible and the overall story feels shallow at best. What i also noticed was that TheDivision is using the exact same controls as WD. I guess you could say they may had planned it as one title - WatchDogs Online - but later decided they rather sell it as 2 AAA titles and came up with the Anarchy scenario. Think about it: - WD Online in a huge city with other players running around hacking or helping each other - they realise it cant be done. Too much AI synced to all players in 1 area generates too much server traffic - they decide you only meet other players in specific zones but that doesnt make any sense in the WD universe so they cancel that - another trick is to reduce the AI in the city, but again a Chicago without life doesnt go well in the WD universe - Ergo: they come up with the post-apoc. story and split the game into a SP WatchDogs with MP 'modes' and TheDivision Online without much AI. - both games use a HUD totally overloaded with tech stuff and share the same controls, possibly also the gfx engine (they look both kinda bland at sunny weather conditions) That's why it took so long to do both WatchDogs and TheDivision. It actually make sense to me.
The first was not that bad, not very good either. And if they learn from their mistakes it might be a better game.
Well, lets see... Remove Aiden, give us a character with some actual... character and personality. Make the story... I don't know, interesting. And make hacking more then just "push a button, stuff happens"...
Watch Dogs 2 will most likely be released this year considering Ubisoft is taking a break on the AC series.
Considering Ubisoft are pushing out both FarCry Primal and Tom Clancy's The Division very soon, I don't think they are worried about trying to get this out this year.
Tbh i'd rather have a really good AC game, only if it's as awesome as Black Flag. SO theres really coming a Watch Dogs 2 so early? i guess it's no surprise as they released AC games so fast lol. EDIT: Oh you said before april 2017, i thought 2016. :bang:
Both FarCry Primal and The Division are coming out next month. They still have a spot to fill for the holidays. This is where WD2 could fit in considering AC is being skipped this year. Besides, Ubisoft really doesn't have any competition this year. Other than Mass Effect Andromeda. This could be a really great year for them if they play their cards right.
First one was decent. Driving physics were kinda wonky, story a bit shallow, but online free roam and just doing stupid stuff was pretty damn fun. Game can look very damn good at times. Just hope it is DX12 when it drops, and does not need 4 patches to play smoothly. Granted my rig was an i7 950 @ 4.1, 12GB 1600, and HD 7850 2GB crossfire when it came out, it still didnt run that good at 1080p for a while.
Considering they announced 2017, after the way the first game ended up... I think people would be more hesitant if the sequel magically makes it out this year. I don't see it coming out this year at all. I'm sure Ubisoft has other projects and games that'll fill up their release schedule this year.
for me if they fix the story and hacking oh sorry forgot yeah the driving.... basically everything has to change to make me play this game. i dont like how dead chicago looks in this game. gta5 just brimms with life man yeah well thats what rockstar is capable of xd.
They'd have to reinvent the game to make the sequel interesting to me. If they stick with the same style, same kind of characters... story telling... just... meh.
