For some reason, whenever I goto global settings and change tessellation I have no option of manually setting it, like 2x, 4x or off. setting it to override does nothing at all.
Not ideal but you could use RadeonMod. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=403389 Open it up, select GPU at the bottom, go to the UMD tab, Miscellaneous... Tessellation_OPTION 0x3200 (Override) Tessellation 0x3800 (0x3800 = 8x, 0x31003600 = 16x) I also set (not sure if required). Tessellation_OPTION_DEF = 0 Tessellation_DEF = 8 (8 = 8x, 16 = 16x) You can always save this as a profile and load again after reinstalling a driver.
I have a Asus r9 290X. I mean like when I goto radeon settings, and either global or game profile, changing it to override application setting does nothing. I don't get another drop down menu to actually select what mode I want it to run in, like 0, 2x, 4x, 8x etc. Nothing at all happens.
