I believe there may be something wrong with my card, no matter what load it has, the fan speed does not appear to change.

iirc the fans wont spin until they reach a certain temp. so what temp are you getting under load?

Yeah ACX cooler will start going at like 60C. I've simply made a custom curve.

    I have seen 40% at 80°C.

Yeah I remember seeing similar to that. And I was asking myself why wouldn't the fan rev up more with the temps so high. With a simple fan curve in Afterburner the fan doesn't really go that fast, and I rarely go over 60C.

I'm lazy, so it set it in the bios. The other 7 fans are louder than the GPU fans at 100% while gaming or benchmarking. Temps range from 24*C-61*C depending on ambient temps.

If your ssc has a dual bios switch flip it to the right. that gives you an extra 5% power target(115% instead of the stock 110% and a more aggressive fan curve). <-- = 0db bios, --> = ssc performance bios.

Hmm... no switch that I can see.

    I have P/N 04G-P4-3975-KR.

Not the same as yours, I presume?

    nvflash failed.

    Error: NV_UCODE_ERR_CODE_CMD_VBIOS_VERIFY_BIOS_SIG_FAIL

ERROR: ERROR:BIOS Cert Verification Error, Update aborted.

    Any idea?

Afterburner causes rig to crash/freeze playing Witcher 3.

If you don't have the dual BIOS, then you don't have that model number GPU.

Could be why the BIOS flash is failing too.

Actually, upon closer examination, I do have the switch.

Anyway, I found that I needed the nvflash with Certificate Checks Bypassed version (TPU).

    Got it flashed, works great.

    Thanks to all.

That's strange. Do you have Witcher 3, Afterburner, and your GPU drivers updated?

    Of course.

AB makes it crash, without AB; no crash.
