    Hello, is this new Shader Cache option for all DirectX Versions? 9-10-11-12 ?

    ok so i loaded up Mech Warrior ONLINE with DX11 64bit Client, with the Crimsom MWO profile with enabled ache shader option to ON.

    And i see no results, i went to the shader cache path and there is nothing related to the dxshader folder.

    Ps: i read in anandtech that the AMD sliders do say that the game has to be compatible so i guess is hard coded into the driver, which sets whos game gets SHADER CACHE or not, regardless of Crimson setting on the profile.

    Which non the less makes profiling pointless.

    You can try to make a profile for every game you play and set there 'Shader Cache On'.

    You can force Shader Cache on for any DX10/11 game without profiling.

    You can do it yourself manually or use RadeonMod yes. I've not had a DX10/11 game fail to create a shader cache since doing it.

    Profiles don't seem to work. Enable this in global settings and see if you get results.

    Global setting AMD optimized = off for most games.

    will try it out, i am thankful of your app, but i wanted to see how efficient the new driver is with profiling, i will try the global shader on like the other friend suggested.

    .bin files. Each shader cache starts at 4MB. They can increase to as much as 32MB depending on the application. They could get larger than 32MB but I haven't seen it yet.

    I see what you mean. By game it can be ON, but global can only be AMD optimized. Seems like a mistake.

    I have shader cache working as it should via crimson options :3eyes:... I have checked the file path & the folder is there & populated with bin files...

    My rig is as stated in my profile & I am running AB without issue...

    Don't know why this is not working for you via normal channels :eek:

    Stay breezy n be lucky :cheers:

    peace... :thumbup::
