In the world of PC Gaming, a 60Hz refresh rate is widely regarded as a requirement for a smooth and fluid gaming experience. Until HDMIÂ 2.0 was annnounced in 2013, it was not possible to display game... Club3D offers DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Active Adapters at 4K-60 Hz
I'll take one for sure.... When is the drop since I just found these as they were not there on this site before. Even contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me to this company for their products. http://www.accellcables.com/collect...-to-hdmi-1-4-active-adapter?variant=729675089 Someone let me know if this is not the same as from what I've read it states 4K @ 60Hz...
No, converter you linked has as target HDMI 1.4. that can do 4k @30Hz. They use this as misleading marketing: Supports up to 4K Ultra HD and 2560x1600 @ 60Hz But right below you have: Up to a 300 MHz Clock Rate for Stereoscopic 3D Support 300MHz is what you need for 1x 1080p@120Hz (a.k.a. their 3D) or 2x 1080p@60Hz or 4x 1080p@30Hz Bold text is apparently 4k@30Hz
$35 is allot cheaper then I was expecting these to be once they hit the market. This should help to convince a decent amount of enthusiasts (like most of us) to try out 4K PC Gaming.

This gaming enthusiast alreadys at 4k 60 fps, as he gave his r9 295x2 to his brother and bought 2 980 tis, that do hdmi 2.0 natively. This is good news though, just 2 years too late for me. Maybe now I can look at AMD for the next gen.
