Well being that AC comes out tomorrow, I made a video of the first mission showing performance on ultra settings with a Fury,

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_2F1rrPX54

While the frames do jump around quite a bit (as low as 30 at times), it does feel smoother than Unity.

I don't think 1440p 60FPS on ultra settings with be attainable on a single Fury x or 980Ti however.

    I thought game releases tomorrow?

As for performance, watched kx11 gameplay on his Titan X's, fps is around 50's. This is looking to be Unity all over again.

It's very common that people get their hands on a copy before the release date. Nothing illegal about that.

I am passing on this game, and not much for me to play this year aside from witcher 3 on ng+ death march, and mgs v tpp (got it yesterday for 20 euros on steam keys).

But i am def. interested in seeing how the game performs in comparison with unity. The rec. spec dictate a gtx 760/gtx 970 or Amd r9 280x so it is kind of weird that they put the r9 280x next to the gtx 970. Awaiting benchmarks.

To be honest, i don't mind games to be pirated specially from ****ty/lazy dev. And i don't see it as a crime when people that don't have much money and live in college dorms pirate softwares. Hell, if i can i would do it aswell, and it isn't morals that is stopping me, it is the damn internet provider, that blocks torrents, and online gaming.

That is what VPN's are for haha

But on topic, once you get into the main game FPS goes to ****.
I am getting average 25FPS with max settings. Turning AO and shadow down to high settings I jump to around 55FPS.

Not sure why going from very high to ultra should cause a 30FPS hit...oh and this is with my Fury unlocked and OCed to 1175/570. 1440p looks like a pipe dream for this title.

Hi, did you play around with graphical setting to see if you can get 60 fps?

    Environment Quality: Ultra
Textures: High (or very high which ever is the max lol)
Shadows: High (PCCS has a 20fps hit)
    AO: Ultra
AA: FXAA (SMAA has like a 10 to 12 fps hit)

That gets me 60fps around London

    Hi everyone,
I have 2x6970 and I can run the 99% of the game with high settings and FXAA. I had lots of problems with Unity, because on 1080p and low textures vram was always around 2,5 gb and my card has only 2 gb. So, who is trying the game can confirm if with low textures the game doesn't exceed 2 gb of vram or not?

I must know this before buying this game,
    Thanks Everyone

On high setting my Fury uses around 2GB of memory but I have noticed HBM usage always is a lot different than GDDR5 as I rarely use all 4GB of it, even when games say they need more.

Also just pirate it and give it a try. If you can run it, then buy it.

With that old card only old games you can run.Or very very good optimized for Amd.
On ACS,a Gameworks game, not a chance.Maybe on ultra low but not exist that option. :D

50fps is a luxury for Amd,Fury. So Shadows again need to be lowered to have over 50fps.PCSS is a nvidia tech,no worth it.
AO need to be lowered,I guess only Textures need to be on Ultra or Very high.

Game runs Smooth so far (in London i Have 40-54FPS Average, dips to 36-38 when driving Carriage)

    1792:1344 90Hz

Environment Quality: High (its basicly drawing Distance)
    Textures: High
Shadows: Med-High (no significant perf. difference, but it is noticable)
AO: HBAO+ (small impact like in FC4)
AA: FXAA or in CCC i set 2xAA with Adaptive Multisampling, i will try 2xMLAA today or 2xEQAA, in 2xAA some shimering occurs)

In london it runs way smoother than it ever ran on unity.

    Env q: Ultra
    Tex: High
    Shad: High
AO: HBAO+ Best(or Full.. smthn like that)
    AA: 2xMSAA+FXAA

The reason I'm using 2xMSAA is because the gpu is not being fully utilized, so
to fill in that gap i just turn up the AA.. Runs around 35 to 45 on london's rooftops.

EDIT: Ok it seems like something was off the first time i launched
the game because when i just restarted it fps doesn't drop under 42 anymore
now its fluctuating from 42 to 55. (Could've been a random memory leak? lel)

Capped the game at 30fps here on my lower end machine. Runs fine most of the time on lowest settings with aa disabled at 1080p. (Game doesn't look bad on lowest settings tho, since not all settings can be changed ingame, bloom is still on for example.)

    System:
    g3258@4.3ghz
    HD6870@1000/1120mhz
    8GB DDR3 1600mhz
    Win10 x64 Pro TH2

However my OSD from MSI Afterburner wont work ingame, it does work when pressing escape to get to the menu screen...Any1 else with the same issue?

OSD actually crashes my game. I have to toggle it on once I get into the game. But it if is on when I start and load, game crashes.

Weird, can launch the game just fine with it on, but it doesn't show up during actual gameplay, its there in the main menu and those animus loading screen thingies where you can walk arround.
    Settings are:
    Application level: low
    Stealth mode: off
    Custom D3D support: off
    Rendering mode: Vector 3D
    Viewport.
