Hi, Quick question on the title. I really enjoy realistic racing games. Is Forza 6 worth buying the console? There's no exclusive games on the console that had actually catch my eye. I don't care about Halo before someone mention it. Anything that's interesting on it, I already own for my PC. And about racing games, I own pretty much everything on PC that's worth having: rFactor 1 & 2, Project Cars (not so worth, but okay...), Dirt Rally, Assetto Corsa, Game Stock Cars and several track & car packages for Raceroom Experience. Plus GT 5 & 6 on PS3. Is Forza 6 physics and gameplay good enough or will I be wasting cash given the stuff I already own? Thanks in advance for any help.
I personally feel the X1 is a waste of money, but it really depends on how much you enjoy Forza, personally I wouldn't buy it for one game but maybe you're loaded.
I don't know if I'd buy one just for Forza 6, but when I got mine, I bought Forza Horizon 2 as well as the Halo Master Chief collection. I finished all of the Halo games in anticipation of the next one and that alone made it worth it for me. I also put countless hours into Forza Horizon 2, which I enjoyed immensely. I then picked up the Gears of War remaster which is also really good, plus when backwards compatibility kicks in, I'll get all of the Gears games for free (not to mention all of the other awesome X360 games that will making their way to BC). After all the heat the Xbox One has taken since release, I have to admit I've been pleasantly surprised with the system. Just for reference, I have a PS4 as well, and you can see my PC specs in my profile. I don't think it's worth it just for that one game, but when you look at what else is available, and all of the exclusives that are coming, X1 is looking pretty damn good right now. Edit: I bought both console purely for their exclusives. PC is still my platform of choice for multi-platform games.
Thanks for the help, guys. Made my mind already. A X1 isn't worth for me right now. Forza 6 is verging way too much on the arcade side and the X1 does not have enough exclusives (if any at all) that interest me to be considered a good buy.
