so anyone tried the demo yet? i played it last night and have some thoughts on the game play. first off the game has been slowed down so the plus there is no more "Def, Att, goal all the time, buildup is essential and tackling feels rewarding also my only gripe is that it seems fifa 13/14 cross, head, goal is back
I'm really enjoying the Demo so far. Build up play has been significantly improved and the Ai feels much less scripted and much more dynamic.
Gonna give it a go later. Have fifa16 on pre-order, said I wasnt going to this year but building an ultimate team is always good fun and career mode is a blast as well.
Played it, like it so far, I don't play more than a couple of matches on the demo as they often change stuff plus I only like to play CM with the team I support
Can't belief people still buy this every year Of all games this one changes the least yet not enough people say it doesn't change so I had to. Yet they complain about COD coming out every year who at least try to change things. Bf2 looks like bf4 and all AC games are basically the same but still worth getting. Fifa takes it to the next level of actually not changing stuff when other games, get bashed for not changing when they make an effort.
Funnily enough I tried the demo and found it a lot like the older Fifas when it was good and a lot less like 15 which wasn't good.
Unlike the Fifa 15 demo i really enjoyed it, feels slowed down which is good and AI appears to be better. I even tried it with the women, meh, also tried out the trainer to see how it was, but it really gets in the way and annoys you. Might actually pick this up this year.
Triangle over your players (red 1st player, blue 2nd player) is scaling now with down sampling (DSR) in 4k. Now triangle is barely to see. Must be 3D now, before it was a 2D Sprite. Cant use 4K DSR now due to this.
I was scaling down from 4k with DSR last night and can't say i noticed, might not be something i look at though. Just reminded me how light the game was, even at 4k there were no issues other than the replays being capped at 30fps.
The demo is great. Graphically it is an iterative sequel with the same engine and the same external launcher settings as before. Player likenesses are fine and close in they can look fairly life-like but they all suffer from the same dead-eye expressions that has plagued the series for years. From normal gameplay camera angles the game look good but there are some weird speeded up and stiff animations at time as well as clipping issues that break the immersion somewhat in the cinematics/replays and make the game look a little unpolished. The presentation (menus, etc) is, as always, immaculate; it's something that EA Sports excel at IMO. The important thing is the game plays well though. A.I. seems to convincing and the goalkeepers appear to be improved over FIFA 15 (but that's something we say every year, right?). I especially like the controller button icons and text that tell you what each player can do. I'm surprised that no-one has thought to do this until now in FIFA; after all Madden and NBA Live have had something similar for years. Well definitely pick this up for PC at some point if I can find it cheap enough (£25 or less).
some people buy for features like pro clubs not just UT (poop) and career modes huh? you mad bro? you can try radeon pro to force triple buffering to keep most replays at 60fps, works for nvidia cards too fully agree only i will pick this up just before release, i can get it for £33 now with extra 99p shield thing on g2play
Origin Mexico or the like are usually cheaper than that, I plan to take a virtual Origin tour later to grab whichever is the cheapest version.
cheers mate i will look at that also me and a few friends are starting a new community for PC, specifically pro clubs but there are people who play co - op seasons, FUT and career and so on so please come join us and help spread the word around http://micro-dots-fifa.pro-forums.co.uk/
I really like it. Havent played Fifa since 13 or 14 on my PS3 so this looks and play pretty good. Really tempted to buy now
Nice I'll check it out, I only play career mode I usually post here: http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=211 mostly ex-PES players when that series started to stagnate so much (for me the last PES was PES 5).
I didn't like Fifa 14 and 15. Didn't buy them. I kept playing fifa 13 which i think is the best fifa by far. But fifa 16 seems promising. Might buy it. Am i the only one that think players don't move naturally ? I mean the animations make them look like robots running. But the gameplay is good which is nice.
Are you effing kidding me? Its nearly pushing 2016 and this does not have 21:9. I love my 21:9 so much I gave up triple monitors. I know EA sucked major ass even getting widescreen support in games barely into 2008 but dear god...... :bang:uke2:
