This is quite interesting. Even though my little Bay Trail box can stream any Steam game in HD, starting Steam Big Picture mode crashes the whole device. Occasionally Windows will shut down but most of the time it will crash and often resume where it left off as though it had hibernated. Disappointing. I thought this box would be good for In-Home Streaming. The specs are: Z3735F, 2GB RAM, Windows 8.1 (x86); but it seems that Big Picture Mode needs VRAM for its fancy background effects. Way to go, Valve! UPDATE: Eurogamer reckon things are fine on a similar device to mine, but mine is far from fine. I suspect there is no fix but maybe someone knows otherwise.
