I have a chance to trade in my 2 4GB 770s (plus like 200 bucks) to get 2 780Ti Kingpins. I usually game at surround 1080 or just a single 1080...would it be worth at all? I look at 3dMark and scores don't seem much higher with my CPU and what not between the 2.

    Surely you're joking?

Are you confusing 770 with 780 there? There's a huge difference between a 780ti (let alone a high end one) and a 770.

    Nope I'm not. I have GTX 770's.

Here is the SLI 780Ti's with 2 - x5670 (I can't find a single CPU one on there)

    Here is my current score:

I know that 17k is higher than 12k, but my thinking is, will I really see a difference? Also is that a good trade?

I wouldn't recommend using 3D mark to decide the differences between GPU's by itself, although you should really be focusing on the graphics score rather than overall. The difference between the two setups in real terms is night and day, it's a massive upgrade.

But is it a good price? My 2 cards and $250?

Performance wise a GTX 780Ti delivers about, biased to more, as a GTX 970.

Not taking Sli in account, a upgrade from a 770 to 780Ti should give at least 25% increase in performance, and that`s bottom line.

Sure power consumption will be higher (maybe heat depending on the coolers used in each card), but so is performance.

For the money i would trade than... just my 2 cents

But if you could get two GTX 970`s for about the same money, i would go for them

But i think it`s not the case

    So I'm guessing it's a good trade?

Well seeing as I usually game at 5760x1080 (5880x1080 with bezel correction) will that be an advantage? Or will the 3GB RAM limit the overall boost of the extra power of the cards? Also I will be running them with stock coolers on air.

I think it will effectively double the FPS @ that resolution.

Also 3GB better gpu > 4GB slower gpu.

I got the kingpin 780 ti sli. Its way higher than a gpu score of of 23308

    http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5686740

You need to put both of them under water to get the performance that these cards demand. 780 ti's are allergic to heat, when in sli. They both have to be near or below 50 degrees C, in order to achieve a good overclock.
