windows 10 retail and directx 12 api overhead test?

hi guys,

i updated to windows 10 retail and did a fresh install, so back to the question, i dont seem to be able to run the directx 12 api overhead test on my r9 280x with amd 15.7.1 drivers and latest 3dmark 1.5.915 so any of you guys input your findings here, that will be pretty beneficial.

 

So when you select the api overhead it just tells you "APi not supported"?

now it's a bit off topic but your dx12 draw calls seems a bit low. mine is 14mil on 1x r9 280x

 

I don't think it's wrong. Just CPU holding him back. I know, DX12 is supposed to change all that ....

 

I think it's a little bit unfair to compare a 4790k vs an FX-8320, since they are in an entirely different price category. Man, I would like to see that 15m instead of the current 8k-1m-whatever in games.

API overhead test is more on CPU rather than GPU imo.

 

so any thing that you guys know about how we can make it run because ive been trying different drivers and all and dont seem to able to run it..
