Only with smoke grenades on my screen, while playing on 1920x1080, GPU usage hits 99% and fps drops 50%+. Was curious if there's any fix for this, as my CPU is good enough for CS:GO.
My GPU usage spikes to 99%, and fps drops from 300 constant, to below 150 and gets really choppy. It's not as bad on other 16:9 resolutions, but on 1920x1080 it's awful. With my specs, this shouldn't happen :bang:
I have all Low settings in-game, AA/AF is off. This started occurring this past Winter, but keeps getting worse anytime they update smokes.
Some people with worse specs than me, claim they don't have this issue though. I was beginning to think mine was the result of faulty hardware.
It's easy to claim you don't have it if you don't watch the FPS closely, or if you're not scoping in on the smoke.
Scoping definitely makes it worse, but on 1920x1080, as soon as i'm near a smoke or in one, even with out having net_graph on, you can feel mouse movement get really bad.
