Ive been having a few issues with AB on Windows 10
I'm happy to test any fixes that you guys have.
For one the User defined curve doesnt seem to kick in. I put the fans to a manual 90% and then activated the user defined curve and nothing happens.

The other issue is that the OSD report more Vram being used then i actually have although this could be a SLI Driver bug. I was just running Battlefield 4 and despite obviously not running DX12 it reports im using 6250MB.

    Hope this helps.

Applying overclock at system startup no longer works for me in Windows 10 Pro.

Don't have Win10 loaded but what does AB entree in Task Scheduler look like , start at log-in , running ?

Oh, you know you need both options on in AB .
"Apply OC at system startup" and in settings>general, "Start with windows" .
Also best to have saved OC profiles made .

Also be patient, Alex isn't sitting around anxiously waiting for Win 10 RTM I'm sure. Give him a few weeks and I'm guessing he'll have some input.

Yep its set up properly exactly the same as it was in 8.1 where it worked no problem.

    Always one:)
    :bang:
Haven't changed a thing in Afterburner since the upgrade and it was working fine in 8.1

Take my word for it......afterburner is not 100% trouble free with windows 10 yet......it is not that far but will cause issues as is

    Never did on 8.1 either on amd cards, for me at least. Try this;
open MSIAfterburner.cfg and change startupdelay to 10000 (1000=1 second)

But these problems seem to be more ab+amd than ab+win10. No issues on the green side

I had no problems with this before Windows 10. It worked fine on 8 and 8.1 using AMD or Nvidia cards so who knows. I will try your suggestion out and see what happens. Thanks.

Have you guys tried uninstalling AB and installing it again? AB is working fine here with Windows 10. Although I did a clean install after upgrading.

I've had a mostly good time with AB and W10 so far. The only issue I've run into is the same one I had with Windows 7. It seems like the power limiter +20% stuff doesn't work.

I was only able to hit 1100 core clock in Win7, same story with Win10. No matter where I put the power limiter slider my VDDC Current reading in GPUZ always caps out at 127.8A. The only time it worked properly was for the 5 months I was using Windows 8.1 in my run up to get ready for Win 10.

While using Win8.1 I would move the power limiter slider and see that reflected in GPUZ, up to about 162A VDDC Current. Anybody have this same thing happen to them or know what can be done about it? It was really nice having my 280 up at 1175core/1575mem while running Win8.1, but trying to get near those clocks on Win7 or Win10 crashes games almost instantly even at the same voltages...

definitely is the source of major desktop glitching/artifacting and eventual locking up of my machine. been running without AB today and its working 100% fine..

Sorry if I'm late and y'all found a fix for this but ill give you mine,
if AB wont apply OC at startup, enable AMD Overdrive from the CCC.
