Check this review as we test the MSI X99A GODLIKE ACK motherboard, this motherboard from their Gaming series isn't shy when it comes to naming. But truth be told, this is among the best X99 chipset b... Review: MSI X99A GODLIKE
Having RGB Lightning is a nice touch, but I'm not sure how it makes it easier for any colour scheme when the heatsinks are bright red. Would be fine for my system as I have red & black, but as my mate pointed out (he has a blue theme) the LEDs wouldn't make any difference because of the motherboard colour.
Humm still waiting for a motherboard from MSI that works well and as intended. And is not godlike... Nice review as always.
Great review HH! I'm just wondering, is there a specific reason why the Rampage 5 was not included in the benchmark diagrams? (If it's in the text I apologize, didn't have the time to read it properly and thouroughly)
I wish so much this board was all black so the RGB lights could be used to fit the build more properly. However, there are a few colors that compliment red/black nicely for a 3 tone build. Considering so many of the best motherboards are red unfortunately (this whole red thing is driving me crazy) I guess this is the lesser of the two evils so I would like to pick this up for my X99 build. Obviously love the feature set. However, I'd do so at $400ish as the estimated price in this review. But other sources are claiming the board will be around $700 which is just ridiculous.
Well, Nvidia named their product Titan and priced it accordingly. I mean, this one's named GODLIKE...what do you expect?
True. Pretty confident I'm getting this board. It's just too feature packed to pass up. I know it's dropping this week but does anyone know the date?
The names they come up with are pretty cringe. Next up; GODLIKE ELITE PRO Want some extra bells and whistles? Hold out for the GODLIKE ELITE PRO GAMING EDITION X sigh
To be trully GODLIKE, I would expect it to beat Asus at the Cinebench score, not lose badly However... she is a beauty. Kinda expensive one, but beauty.
You didn't find that chart strange? There's also another Asus X99 Deluxe score below Godlike's, and the top one actually has both Asus and Gigabyte for some reason.
I have this MOBO, it is great, but as you can see in the last picture of the FIRST 'product showcase' page, there is a cable running over the RAM slots.... Is it ok to push it a little aside and install the RAM stick, or could I break something then.... I find it so strange that cable is over there...
H; forum and the review links do not match. It is crossing the GODLIKE mobo with the new Rampage V 10th ed.
