Corsair link is the buggiest PoS ever

Rebooting a few times sometimes sorts the driver install out, and it recognises the devices, otherwise reinstalling over the top of the current link install sometimes fixes it too

Overall there is no one method to fix it, it's trial and error until you finally get it to recognise the hardware

That install alone is mainly what takes the longest in setting up a clean install on my machine, it's quicker reinstalling windows than it is to get Corsair link working

I stuck with this version after it took about 3 hours to recognise my H100i

    Nice one :)

Yea, I just stick with what works now, no need to test out new versions so long as it can control the fans etc

If your board has fan control then your better off using it than Corsair Link, they have been promising new versions but none have arrived. I fought with it for 2 years then gave up and am using the control on my Asus board and the cooler is working fine..

They release new versions regularly on corsair forums, but each new release has more bugs than the last

+1 I assambled a computer for a client with a H100i and he had billon of problems with Corsair Link. So I ended up building a DIY PWM fan controller ... :wanker:

The only think I ever used Corsair Link for when I had my H100i is to change the color of the LED and sometimes that didn't even stick after I rebooted my computer. Like others have said, the software is a mess and it never works properly.

Uninstall Corsair Link, left the pump in the default speed, connect the fans to the motherboard and bob's your uncle.

I got myself the H110i GT also today and I was told that you needed to install the Corsair-link for software updates but I don't think it's necessary because all it does is making it possible for you to change your color and your speed (which I can even change in my MoBo) so it's not at all necessary for you to use it.

Also for the users prompting to buy one, it's a hell of a beast and I finally am rid of my (R.I.P.) Intel's stock cooler! :p

Do you have that fan connected to the cooler's pump? or to one of the fan headers on your board?

    See if this works;

    - Uninstall Corsair Link, including the Corsair Link(TM) USB Dongle
    - Delete the following directory: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Corsair
(This directory is also used to store custom profiles for other Corsair products.
    - Shutdown
    - Move the USB connector to a different header (or swap it)
    - Turn it back on, Install Corsair Link (Don't launch)
    - Reboot
