So I'm replaying the Mass Effect trilogy at the moment, and while the first game looked fine just injecting SMAA, the second had a ton of crawling jaggies all over the place. So I delved into NV Inspector and enabled 2x2 Supersampling plus 2x Transparency Supersampling. I also left SMAA on for the hell of it. Image looks very clean now.

My question is, do I even need to enable Transparency Supersampling if I enabled 2x2 Supersampling? Doesn't the latter just do the entire screen anyway?

Transparency super sampling doesn't do anything without MSAA. Same thing with Sparse Grid Supersampling.

If you using 2x2 Supersampling (Which is OGSSAA) then you don't need it.
