Wow, I'm really looking forward to the review of this card, and how it compares to the MSI card, especially noise-wise. :)

Already have mine pre-ordered through contacts in the UK, so hoping for a good review. With any luck I'll get it next week sometime.

Review should be very similar to the Zotac, not even a 2% margin if you ask me

I would rather see a benchmark on the KFA2 Geforce GTX 980 ti HOF if you ask me..

Maybe not known by many but is worth a look.

You sir are correct, I pre-ordered one, ETA is the 14th.. As you can see in my signature I am a fan of the Galax/KFA2 brand. They really shouldn't be overlooked by the public, have owned 3 of them and they never disappoint. This 980 that I have has an Asic of 77%

    Yes Yes YES!!!

It would be great to have some comparison between drivers and 780 / 780ti performance in games.

I have 780 and it really feels like the card is actually performing lower than before.

Have been waiting for the strix, and I will get this card if it is not anything terribly disappointing about it, which i will get confirmed after Hilberts review. :)

From what I'v seen so far it looks like the potentially best of the 980 Ti's for me with 0db fan when idle or low load is going to be really swell in my current low noise fractal design build.

And really interested to see how this cards compare to others when it comes to overclocking, so don't forget to squeeze overclock Hilbert! :)

Most of the AIB 980 Ti's are 0db idle mode.

This might tempt me to abandon putting in my spare 780 and going SLI! Was liking Palit cards but their SJS 980Ti has no memory overclock which my Palit SJS 780 does have, now the strix has both GPU/MEM factory overclocked only the price has put me off, overclockers have them listed at £660, crazy crazy prices!!

Always seen Asus with dual fan designs. This one a tri-fan. Guru3d has probably done the most 980ti reviews of an site out there.. awesome! Some major sites only do the ref card at release then stop there.

Guru3d leads when it comes to reviews I am enjoying all 980ti reviews they all seem to overclock to about the same level as cooling on all non reference are awsome

I saw the review of this card on the other website. Temperatures on the card are really dissapointing with that Direct CU III cooling. I'm waiting for Guru3d review of this card, since they seems to be most reliable.

Here's the link if anyone is interested.

Went for this over the G1, it has an impressive cooler and is smaller. Now to wait for the pre-order..! :hatty: :infinity:

    @ fOrTy_7 & alanm

83° load temperature in one review and 69°/71° load temperature in the other? How could such a big difference be?

If 83° is true this would be insanely bad for such a monster of cooler :-/
