Hilbert, any news about the Lightning line of GPUs? What's going on with that btw? I can only find the 290X variant. Will Nvidia not let them those cards anymore or something?
Yeah I talked about that, there is a 980 Ti Lighting in development. The ETA is not yet clear but expect in a month or two for the 980 Ti Lighting model.
The 2 680 Lightnings that I had (I still have one as a "emergency" GPU ) were the most advanced GPUs I ever had, from an engineering point of view. Good to know there will be a new version of this series for 980 Ti which hopefully will last a while longer, unlike with 680 and especially 780 (which was obsolete after only like 2 months due to the release of 780 Ti...).
