    Hello everyone,

Click here (www.amd.com/beta) to download the driver.

    Highlights:

    Crossfire Profiles updates for:
    • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

    Performance Improvements for the following:
    • The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt: Up to 10% performance increase on single GPU Radeon R9 and R7 Series graphics products
    • Project Cars - Up to 17% performance increase on Radeon R9 and R7 Series graphics products

    Known Issues:
    • The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt: Crossfire users may experience poor performance or random flickering. As a workaround we suggest disabling Anti-Aliasing from the game’s video - post processing settings. If the issues persist further, we suggest disabling Crossfire while we continue to work with CD Projekt Red to resolve this issue.
    • Project CARS: Corruption may be observed if Anti-Aliasing is set to DS2M. As a workaround we suggest using a different Anti-Aliasing setting.

Please refer to the Release Notes for more information.

Only up to a 17% improvement in Project Cars?, wasn't it stated by Ian Bell that the game had lost 30/40% of its performance on AMD?.

Anyways, installing driver and hoping i can now play it properly.

    AMD are you serious?

Is this REALLY another driver "joke" where CFX profile problems are solved disabling CFX?

    ?????

Please post your performance comparisons with older drivers.
Frametimes are appreciated. Especially for Witcher 3

"Down 17 points in Firestrike", and "Feels smoohter overall" does not count :)

I'd do it myself, but I've just installed 1023

U want working CFX ? Just disable it and play on single gpu.
Seriously ! 10 days and still no crossfire. Why u add profile if its not working ?

Ok so Witcher 3 in FULL HD with CF 290 and 4790k stock

its 60+ fps with uber and hairworks all. without hairworks its 75-90fps in uber full hd on my setup. All with AA of.

With AA on it shimmers, kinda looks like an alternating frame blur effect.
Without AA, its alright at night, in the daytime, its almost perfect but you can tell the screen flickers every few seconds during texture streaming. If you stand still or slow scenes its perfect, when riding on roach galloping, you can see the screen flickers a bit, not that distracting ( a lot better than it was) but its not perfect.

    Project cars, will test tomorrow.

Got a slight performance boost, however the game still stutters a bit for me on a R9 280x

Thanks for reporting CFX use. :)

If i understand you AA is unusable and fast moves with CFX lead to flickering?

Actually seems slightly worse for me in project cars

I have my solo race setup for california full, thunderstorm, 20 cars total, all settings high, no aa.

22 fps at the pre race camera pan, it was 29fps with a previous driver.

Playing through the track feels about the same to me, steadily increasing fps as the cars thin out, but no noticeable improvement.
