Yeah awesome also added disable auto centering option while driving/riding in first person and fixed my raw mouse input stutter.

Game just needs go prone/roll, parkour aka Dying Light or at least a ground sliding mechanic for chases and fix the rain in first person while in a vehicle then it's complete.

Low FPS on High End PC

I have 2 R9 290x 8GB card and an i7 4770K cpu @3.9 Ghz.My 2 cards are running above 90% and my cpu usage goes between 70 and 90%, I get about 60 FPS until i start driving which drops the FPS to around 20 whether i have max settings on or just normal settings. It is also installed on my HDD and not my SSD but Id imagine that wouldn't cause the frame drops. I installed a Maximus Hero VII mobo last week so i cleaned out the fans too so there's no over heating.

Did you download the AMD driver? As lots of people using two cards says it fixed that problem. I myself have a problem with Vsync, so I use adaptive Vsync which fixes my weird drops.

Performance is still a little hit and miss out of the City, but nice to see some quick fixes. I would love to see a GTA V CPU performance benchmarks as the game seems pretty highly threaded

i find it curious why the fps average is lower outside the the city when it seems that there isn't as much density objects in the desert compared to inside the city.

i'm still getting this occasionally when opening and navigating the city map but it only happens for a second or two. really weird.

It's the AMD Driver :nerd:... My mate has the same with two r9 290x, and he tried everything, like you.

With my r9 290x 4GB (no crossfire), i've some artifact, when i alt-tab, my screen back at 59hz, i need to put 120hz manually every alt-tab..

And, i've an xbox wireless controler, when i start the game with controller ON, i've a windows error: 0xaeb11d72 / 0x00000032

    So so so... sh*t :bang:

Theres more grass outside the city. Turn it down a notch if you have it at Ultra.

Yeah, noticed some fps dips when i got to play with Trevor. Strange that city is smooth. Looks like grass and shadows are taxing like always. :D

Got this last night; 55 and 350mb patches. Can't notice anything different performance-wise but it did fix the game not saving the full screen option and always starting in window mode

Hey,find some tests who show how the ultra settings affect the game.
    [Critical] MSAA
[Severe] Post-FX Quality – The Biggest Impact on FPS
[Severe] Grass Quality – Large, Situational FPS Impact
[High] Shader Quality – Big Gain Between Normal & Very High
[High] Shadow Quality – Very High vs. High Shows Big Gain
    [Small] Tessellation Quality
    [Negligible] Texture Quality
    [Negligible] Distance Scaling at 4K

    With this patch I have 1 CTD,just single one.Weird.

Do you have latest beta drivers installed? I'm on i5 4670K @ 4Ghz, R( 290 and it runs smoothly (40-60+ fps) on ultras with 2x msaa.
