    Deal, I`ll take 3

I read about them doing it on ebay too when they run out of stock they stick the price up to something no-one will pay rather than removing the listing until they have more stock

I wish XFX still made custom Nvidia GPU's.

With prices like that no wonder nvidia has 76% on the discrete graphics market.

Me too. But we can blame that on Nvidia for no more XFX cards.

You're right, that price is offputting, that sixty three cents is a dealbreaker!

It was the taxes on it that turned me off.

Anyhow I thought some would get a good laugh out of it.

With the reputation XFX Coolers currently have I wouldn't blame them.

I was looking at buying an XFX R9270X as a replacement for my dead XFX HD6970 before reading your post, but now I would much rather spend my money on a decent GTX 960 with stable Linux drivers and superb STRIX-cooling solution.

I am sure that will be a superb upgrade! My friend has a Strix 970 and it is a great card. I always keep this image close by when I talk about XFX:

I don't like or want to say negative things about XFX, I just don't want to see people unsatisfied with their purchases.

This is the card I am currently using, and
IT'S GOOD BUT NOT THIS GOOD

I had expected this issue to be "resolved" by now...but maybe it's working as intended after all :D

I want to say negative things about XFX - multiple times now both me and a couple of friends have been unable to get them to honor their warranties. I will avoid them if possible from now on - unfortunately I still own several cards from them as I had at one point convinced my employer that they were one of the better third party companies to purchase from.

I ended up buying a used EVGA GTX 580 SC for $50 and got a free copy of The Witcher 3 — best deal I ever did.
