http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00H347ZKY/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new XFX Reference R9 290 (New @ $82,608.63) It better be solid platinum and encrusted with diamonds.
Deal, I`ll take 3 I read about them doing it on ebay too when they run out of stock they stick the price up to something no-one will pay rather than removing the listing until they have more stock
Well hell this is an even better deal: Radeon 7200 haha http://www.upgradebay.com/Products/..._content=pla&gclid=CIaTh-Ko0MQCFUkV7Aodl2AAlQ Discounted Price $78,513.14 Regular Price $84,009.06 (You save $5,495.92) I am sorry I am just finding these funny, as I looking for a video card.
I was looking at buying an XFX R9270X as a replacement for my dead XFX HD6970 before reading your post, but now I would much rather spend my money on a decent GTX 960 with stable Linux drivers and superb STRIX-cooling solution.
I am sure that will be a superb upgrade! My friend has a Strix 970 and it is a great card. I always keep this image close by when I talk about XFX: I don't like or want to say negative things about XFX, I just don't want to see people unsatisfied with their purchases.
This is the card I am currently using, and IT'S GOOD BUT NOT THIS GOOD I had expected this issue to be "resolved" by now...but maybe it's working as intended after all
I want to say negative things about XFX - multiple times now both me and a couple of friends have been unable to get them to honor their warranties. I will avoid them if possible from now on - unfortunately I still own several cards from them as I had at one point convinced my employer that they were one of the better third party companies to purchase from.
I ended up buying a used EVGA GTX 580 SC for $50 and got a free copy of The Witcher 3 — best deal I ever did.
