here comes titan x http://www.gamespot.com/articles/nvidia-reveals-titan-x-the-world-s-most-advanced-g/1100-6425692/ edit oops didnt see there was another thread posted already
I would love to see you buy 4 of them and do some benchmarks. That would be great. I only wish that there were capable CPU's out there to drive some of the CPU limited games.
After buying Titan1 and feeling conned when the 780ti was realeased, despite several good months of gaming, I'll be passing on this one. I'll wait for the non Titan version. It'll be interesting to see if it has a fully enabled G200 core. The answer to that question will lead to more questions about what is next, either way!
If the rumored price is accurate, I'm glad I decided to go GTX 980 SLI than wait for Titan X.. Despite the headaches with SLI at times, GTX 980 SLI is definitely a lot more bang for the buck.
I know about DX12 and the rumours, but does not help us SLi users currently, and I also read games will have to be programmed to use the combined memory, it wont be automatic.
It needs to be atleast twice as fast as a regular Titan if I'm gonna pay that much money again. Adding a bunch of VRAM ain't gonna do it. I've never run out of VRAM with 6Gb anyways.
