EA have announced Battlefield Hardline Premium, a membership programme offering - amongst other things - early access to the game's DLC. Battlefield Hardline Premium will cost you $50 (on top of the ... Battlefield Hardline Premium Announced
Good luck trying to sell the premium to suckers. This game really have to be exceptional good before I even consider buying it and even if it is good I will never pay for the Premium since it should just be in the final game.
Well, some competitive gamers said this game has pretty good balance and overall multiplayer. I don't know if it's a fact or they're biased by $$$. However I'm not going to buy Hardline Premium, not even the base game. The initial beta was such a failure that it left bad taste. Still I'm satisfied with BF4 Premium - there was quite a lot of new content, and the game itself was pretty big on the release date. Having said that, CoD 4 cost me half of what I paid for BF4, even without Premium, and the modders added way more content than I could chew.
Beta was underwhelming. The grapple line concept lost its appeal after 30mins watching everyone do it over and over. I'm gonna stick with BF4.
Not even looking to Hardfail side.. hope they will fail hard and will do something about their attitude, like failing with BF4 from the very beginning and +6 month.. And there are still issues.. Been there from BF3.
It looks like Battlefield 4 Premium Edition (£22 = game + 5 expansions) offers much more for 1/3 of the price now. So, they stripped game features and moved them into DLC. I am sticking with BF4.
This will be the first Battlefield game which I will not preorder. I kind of liked the beta, but I'm pretty sure the game will not be worth the 60+50 euros... I too hate to see EA go the Activision path again, just after they somewhat regained some respect from me. Problem is, the SW franchise is in their hands now, so I've got to have at least some faith. :bang:
So basicly what DICE and EA did here is made new skins and maps for Battlefield 4, renamed into Hardline sold for 60$ than now announced new DLC packs which is comming with premium,it's cash in features for cows for 240$. Who buys it can wear a mask of COW.Who doesnt saves 120$ Wao what a "player" is this EA/DICE combo... makes me sick. But guess what guys, Valve stepped into this road with fail Dota2 patches. Ages until countries don't make "LAW" for this companies so they don't abuse microtransaction/dlc and other bulls. This is how is it gonna be. I'm getting sick of this companies.
I didn't know that stat tracking and being able to play multiplayer is extra content :3eyes:. Back to waiting for UT4.
"DICE" did not make this game. "VisceralGames" made this game. aka So this is basically a non Battlefield game called Battlefield made by people that aren't really DICE. I have nothing against Danger Close, I just dislike this game being called "Battlefield". *edit* Thanks DesGaizu.. I literally thought it was DICE LA...
Yet infantry combat is better. It's probably the only thing that's better though lol. MoH Warfighter was a good game with bad mapdesign imo. The game itself was fun, but the maps, etc made it bad. Seems to me rather then letting X studio do X game, they should let X studio do X segment of the game and then sit around the table once in a while to balance the whole picture...
Ummm... Neither DICE or DICE LA (aka danger close) made hardline, VisceralGames who made the dead space games have worked full on hardline for past few years. DICE LA are the ones working on BF4 CTE which in turn has had stuff added to hardlines also vice verse Visceral have added fixes and features to CTE which have then been added to BF4. DICE is working on starwars:BF and the next version of frostbite. DICE LA got trimmed down after MOH failed hard (I enjoyed the game a lot ;_; ) so are basically on post support and helping the other big teams on their games. Oh also CTE is coming to hardline too...
I'm freakin sick to death of Day 1 DLC BS. Every game company now just splits part of a game off and charges for it. 100$ total for a mod? Got to be kidding right? No, EA loves the old cash cows.
Ohhh wow!! I actually thought DICE LA were making this... big time goof up. With that said, I still have an issue with it brandishing the Battlefield name.... because it's not Battlefield. Medal of Honor Warfighter was so good 9___9 I still have the T-Shirt.. hehe. It died because it received no where near the required support it "needed" after it released, it could have been built up and become something very special, but instead it was dumped and forgotten by EA as if it never happened.
