I DESTROYED Tales of Vesperia on the Xbox 360. Never been so engrossed in a game in my life. If its anywhere as good it will be a purchase from me!

This is good news, tales of vesperia and xillia were great.

Plus, no need to play it on ps3 with low resolution now.

I loved Tales Of Symphonia on the Gamecube. Recently played through it on Dolphin at 4x native resolution and it looks pretty nice and played butter smooth 60fps :)

Day one buy for me, I absolutely love the Tales series. It's the main reason I bought a PS3 to be honest, I'm really happy to see more JRPG's come to the PC.

    Ergh!

I mainly want it for PC now, but it'll be releasing on the PS3 earlier. I might just have to get both.

Fantastic news though, one of the main reasons I bought my PS3 was to play the Tales series, if I can start getting it on the PC that's one less reason to own a console for me. I hope it does really well and we see future releases coming out for the PC.

I kept my PS3 specifically for the Tales of... games. Loved Xillia and Xillia 2 as well as the remastered Symphonia Chronicles (sadly lacking AA but otherwise terrific). One thing I really like about these games is that you can set the combat to Auto if you want and just sit back and enjoy the story.

As far as I've read it's shorter then most tales games but still about 50 hours for the main story and like 70 hours to collect stuff

Very much looking forward to playing this as a fan of the Tales series though this will be the first time I have played one on the PC. Started downloading it this morning before I left for work as it did not unlock until midnight (after I'd gone to bed) so, alas, I will have to wait for that to finish installing first before I can play it. Thank goodness it is only 11 GB in size!

Oh and Namco Bandai, like Capcom, really do take the piss when it comes to DLC. I saw one pack for Tales of Zesteria that costs £15 and it seemed to compromise of little more than inventory items. I know you don't have to buy it, and I won't, and most of it is just cosmetic but it does get annoying knowing that I do not own the "full" game and all its extras unless I fork out another £30-£40 for all the costumes etc. Publishers really are greedy IMO in the way they attempt to milk more money out of people who've just paid £30-£40 for a full-priced game.
