Hi Gurus! Looking for an advice. Planning to build itx/micro atx build to put in my Condominium. I have a good deal between a Pentium G3258 with R9 280x or i5 4460 with GTX 760..What is better? Thanks.

The 280X is by far the faster GFX card.

The pentium will bottleneck the 280x. On the other hand the i5 4460 with GTX 760 is a solid and great combo.

Not in that combo. I would rather go with an i5 and 760.

That Pentium with the R9-280x is a strange combination. I agree with the others, it will bottleneck the R9-280X.

Overclocked that pentium could still hold its worth but in a micro itx/atx case thats not going to budge.

Why dontcha put the i5 with the r9 280x?

I can only get those combination in our local comp shop...But the only available 280x here is Sapphie tri x...Unfortunately it wont fit in my my corsair air 240...

So my only choice now is i3 4160 with Zotac Reference 760 or i5 4460 with Powercolor R9 270x Devil..What do you guys think..I will now buy it later because my new condo unit will be blessed tomorrow morning.
