    Hi there!

I don´t know much about phones. I have 200€ to spend on a new smatphone on christmas; i have the following options:

Samsung i9301i Galaxy S3 Neo (Onyx Black) (199.99€)
    http://www.fnac.pt/Samsung-i9301i-Galaxy-S3-Neo-Onyx-Black-Telemovel-Telemovel/a805484

Motorola Moto G Dual SIM - 2ª geração (Black) (199€)
    http://www.fnac.pt/Motorola-Moto-G-Dual-SIM-2ª-geracao-Black-Telemovel-Telemovel/a838473

    LG G2 Mini D620R (Red) (187€)
    http://www.fnac.pt/LG-G2-Mini-D620R-Red-Telemovel-Telemovel/a797817

    BQ Aquaris E5 HD - 16GB (Preto) (179.90€)

I want a ~5inch screen with a good resolution, ideally 720x1280. Quad-core and 1gb ram. 4g is irrelevant for me. Battery must last a day of medium use. A decent camera.

Which one of these do you think suck less? Share your opinions about brands, components and alternative options.

    Thanks!

I wouldn't take the huawei honor 3C. I have it and its a piece of ****.

Not sure if my problems are specific to me or just widespread but it decides not to play videos of any kind sometimes and the only way to fix it is restarting it. Also sometimes it shuts off wifi for no reason.

If you want quality, take the Samsung.

They are really reliable and made of quality materials.

    Plastic.

    Sorry, just had to. :)

Hopefully the Galaxy S6 will be made out of metal, shame it won't be in the budget of the op.

I'd go for Samsung Galaxy SIII if I had a budget of $200.

I was about to recommend Umi zero ($200) since its design, hardware, and build quality is top notch. I ordered 2 units at aliexpress. However, after some reading on Umi's forum and FB page, it seems that the software side of the phone is not so great. Many people reporting problems. At the end I cancelled my order.

Right now I'm interested to ZTE Nubia Z7 mini, but it's more expensive ($ 265). I think that's the cheapest snapdragon 801 phone

I personally wouldn't buy a ZTE phone, they're not exactly known for their quality.

Well, actually my current phone is a ZTE N986 and I've been using it for more than a year without any problems. It has dual SIM CDMA/GSM, so if I buy the Z7, I would be able to use both of my SIMs. It's difficult to find other brands that offer this feature.

I ended up buying the BQ Aquaris E5 HD. So far so good.
