After this Loot 2.0 is Diablo 3 itself good without ROS? i played a bit of my guest account that i've got with HOTS, and it seems to be improved from the last time(2012) that i played that. Are classes fun? acts are good? farming is boring not?
I didn't pay much attention to the game when it came out because of the negative feedback. However after loot2.0 and RoS came out I started thinking about it. I ended up getting the base game and RoS for about 40US and I'm glad I did. I've really enjoyed playing it.
I enjoyed it when it first came out. Put about 150 hours into it but stopped playing long ago. I loaded it up last weekend for the first time in over a year and within 5 minutes I got gear way better than what I already had. I'm bored with the gameplay though so uninstalled it.
I did some 180 hours without the expansion. With the expansion it's almost 300 hours total, most of it solo. I enjoyed my time with it. The lowest D3 has been is $20 from Blizzard's own store.
Its ok. Its not as good as most fanboys say it is. Torchlight is good also. If you can get D3 under $30 its worth it. But to me,it got pretty boring. Most guys that just swear by blizzard game, just like the guys that swear by Apple will tell you how great it is.
Its too fast paced and there is no real strategy in it. I'd rather be able to zoom out and see what I'm about it run into and use some strategy on how to take them down.
I have over 2000 hours into it and should crack Paragon level 600 this weekend. I was going to take a break to play Far Cry 4 but now with the new patch coming out in a few weeks with Ancient gear, I'm just stockpiling crafting mats, gold, and Rift Fragments. I'm sitting on almost 28,000 Veiled Crystals AND Arcane Dusts with 10 billion in gold at the moment but I'm a first class hoarder. That doesn't even count the 1500 Forgotten Soul's stashed away. So yes, I would consider it a good game.
Lol, I wish. I work around 50 hrs/wk but I really haven't played much of anything else for a long time. I started on the day of release also. Needless to say, my barb can absolutely steamroll anything but a Grift guardian at high levels.
I suppose you put most of your time in on the weekends.. Its a decent game, just gets too repetitious for me. Dungeon siege was better in the fact you could rotate the camera and see what you were running into. I just don't like the 3/4 top down view.
Eh, I put 2-4 hours in most weeknights and quite a few on the weekends. I really enjoyed Dungeon Siege back in the day. I played the crap out of that game.
