Is it good or is it bad that it only has a single 12V rail?

I prefer a single line design. There's no messing with deciding where to connect which cable, and if you buy a quality PSU, it'll have no issues with voltage regulation.

Theoretically with separation it's more stable, but well... When I was loading Corsair AX1200i even with spikes up to 110A on 12v line, it maintained voltages at really stable levels.

    it's an Amperage question

multiple 25A and 2 590GTX ( :) huge A eater) and you might have trouble with your 1200W PSU but single 150A and it goes fine with your 800W PSU.

both side have for and con point, but for normal/gaming/OC single is more effective.

Thanks guys. I actually thought it's better to have two rails for two graphics cards... only half the story

i always prefer a single 12V rail, its simpler to connect all the devices. i think is better one big circuit than many small circuits. this topic aside, this PS its just beautiful.

its a perfect match for those white asus x99 motherboards.

White NZXT H440 tower + asus x99 deluxe motherboard + seasonic snow white psu. Add 1 or 2 white ssd's to put on display where the h440 has 2 spots right in front of the window. A gpu with white accents. Would be a sexy lookin build.
