They've gone down in price. If you can get it for $1500, then I'd take it. It's better than the $3k they were originally going for.

No it isn't worth it considering 2x970s smoke it and are still a fraction of the price. I wont even mention the 980s. NVIDIA really pushed the boat out with this card testing the consumer....how much will they really pay? Even nvidia took the piss but didn't work this time around.

Considering its still around 1k and there are new gpus looming the titan z is still a waste of time. Buy now regret later.

When its ~800€ then I would say its "cheap".

Yeah even then as a single card solution its still expensive considering powerful cards are just around the corner for around the same price. Its a nice price decrease by Nvidia but i think its too late tbh.

The only good thing about this card is "yeah i have a Titan Z" which is great for epeen but give it maybe 1-2 months and you will probably get a card that is more powerful, same price or cheaper and is more appreciated. Titan Z, massive price decrease but still fail in Oct 2014.

I would not touch a titan z unless you need DP. Price is decent though.

Old tech, too expensive. Actually that card's price is an insult.

No. $1500 for 2 quite slower Titan Blacks when you can get 2 980s for $1100, 2 970s for $660, 2 290X for ~$700, etc... and all the mentioned configurations are quite faster. For gaming.

    Still way too much...

For a third of the Price you buy 970 in SLI with slighty better performance and less TDP.

Course it aint worth it but just goes to show 18 month old gk110 can keep up with 970 and not much slower than a 980 and actually faster at 4k. Maxwell are excellent cards and have many positives besides performance but they are a snoozefest for me owning 2 full gk110. I actually hoped the 980 was 30% faster than the 780ti like some of the rumors suggested but at least the rumor that a 980 was only as fast as a 780 was wrong.
@ESlik, I believe the maxwell variant of the titan will be out soon based on the titan z pricecut and nvidia wanting to capitalize on holliday sales. There is not anything out currently for gk110 owners to get a huge upgrade in performance to upgrade to.
