Cool post a picture here with your name when you get them and ill add ya to the list. Early days yet, i think Eclap may have his first today cause he has gone to pick it up in person.
Ordered one today, evga ref cooler. Didn't fancy going with the msi cooler, ref 4 lyfe!
Will probably order another one end of the month, didn't expect them to be so cheap.
I really hope I didn't jump the gun and get too much of a stock option for the 980, but I couldn't wait as I was too excited and wanted to go through Amazon so I could use my Amazon finance card.
Going from a 680 to this is going to be amazing. I've been waiting for a while.

I'm coming from a GTX 680, so I'm upgrading. I ordered an EVGA GTX 980 Superclocked at TigerDirect and somehow got a $15 off discount. And I had $25 sitting in my PayPal account I'm anxious to put the card in my PC! I will probably mess around with some overclocking. Why not. I got a good deal, and that $15 discount paid for 2 day shipping. I didn't have enough money to buy the GPU from any other website due to taxes. TigerDirect charges no taxes for California. My wife was upset that I stayed up past 1am(obligations @6am). TigerDirect was not as quick as the other websites. Mine should arrive by Tuesday. I was impatient as well and couldn't wait haha. Can someone post their Overclock settings as you guys get your cards and mess around with them? thanks!
Grabbed me a couple these and prices in Canada not to bad.$721 each card.
So about the same price I paid for 680 GTX cards, way cheaper than 780Ti cards I bought, but 320 bucks more than R9 290x card I have bought.
AMD fanboy here but you just gotta love buying new stuff, now I hope the 980 cards can overclock half decent.

Ordered mine too late this morning. Sold out from my preferred retailers so had to order one online from TigerDirect.ca
Not a big deal but it was $10 more (EVGA Superclocked - $629.99CAN) and they wouldn't price match. AND they ship from the US so it'll take a good 7-10 days to get it. Not in a rush since my GTX 690 offers similar performance but just happy to get that from one GPU now instead of 2.
May add a second one later on next month depending on how much I enjoy this new DSR feature
I ordered 2 EVGA Reference 980's.
I actually wanted reference. I don't like all that hot air blowing into my case haha.
On a side note, what a long fn weekend wait it shall be.
Edit, I am coming from 780 Classified SLI.
Luckily my return period is still up so one of my Classys are on its way back to EVGA Monday, so I basically have already paid for one of the cards.

Agreed! And regarding others' comments, I too am wondering how this DSR feature will make me glad i don't anger my wife further by trying to sneak in a 4K display lol. I wish i could build an X99 PC, and on top of that, throw in 3 GTX 980 cards! Well, cheers. And enjoy!

Well played! You are the husband and father of the year! I will have my wife's favorite Thai Rice waiting for her. and my daughter gets a Frozen Book with read along CD lol. I've had to sell some stuff to be able to get a launch card, but I'm sure it was worth it. Over in the GTX 970 owners club someone posted unbox pics. His MSI gpu was very sweet lookin. My nerd meter skyrocketed hahaha. I want to see plenty of that in this thread too!
