It seems the 900 series has built in downsampling :)

Interesting although I'm still on the fence tbh. The review will depend on whether I buy or fly.

It's got over double the pixel fill rate of a single 680. I'm definitely upgrading, single 980 for now and SLI when I have the cash again.

I wonder it may be worth waiting for a classified version.
Then again id be watercooling so I don't think it matters.
I've heard that the vrms on these are poor quality.

At 165 W it's starting to look a bit more like Next-gen on the current node...and with AMD being slower drawing 120W more, let's hope they've got something up their sleeve as well.

Now, that is a very interesting feature but I questions it worth really.

There are some older games that don't support AA compatibility flags (GTA IV for example), though they are few and far between these days, or have woeful post-process AA that would benefit from downsampling but with the move over to DX11 and the lost of the AA compatibility flags you would think downsampling would be perfect. The reality is that those newer games tend to far too demanding to make downsampling a viable option anyway. Might come in handy for the odd DX11 Unreal Engine 3 or early Frostbite engine game (e.g. Need for Speed: The Run) though.

You'll probably be waiting 8-10 months on that.

There is no way PASCAL is coming out start of 2016 so they need to have something for mid next year till late 2016.

GM200 (GM210) is not Pascal, obviously it is Maxwell.

Titan2, if existing will surely be based on Maxwell GM200 ... forget Pascal before.. well a good while ( end of 2016 as in the roadmap of Nvidia ) most likely 2017 for the non Pro model )

I didn't say it was PASCAL, I was saying that PASCAL won't be out till late 2016 so Nvidia needs a release between now and when PASCAL comes out, which will be GM210.

    Getting lost in translation :p

Interesting, now i really want to see how an 1450-1500 mhz OC translates to 2000 maxwell cores.

I think thats how it originally was then they changed it to Volta and then they changed it back again.

With a Voltmod i reckon these cards could go upto 1600mhz+
Im still on the fence though atm until review time and Titan II may come before xmas.
