Hi gents! Never let my face unshaven for more that 1 week, but last month i had a surgery and wasn't allow to go out as much,so no reason whatsoever to shave. Now,as fall is knocking on our doors, what better reason to grow a beard? So i test my patience and fight the urge to shave or trim it. Wife first hated it,now she says she drives her wild,in a very good way. Any guru here wahts to share some beard tips,or anything about it?
I first grew a beard when I worked at a ski resort years ago. It made a big difference in keeping warm when outside all day in the snow and wind. Since I have a 5pm shadow by noon even if I shave daily I prefer to just keep the beard growing. Unfortunately my hair is curly enough that if I let it get too long it looks very wild and unkempt. I would love a nice long viking beard, but I just settle for a good thick, full beard instead. Maybe someday I'll be able to compete with this guy.
I've usually a small beard (or better said unshaven for week/ weeks), long hair too, my employers don't care for it much is all. i feel like posting a marley vid.
Free scarf for winter. Started growing my proper beard already. Normally keep a braided goatee rest of the year.
my genectics don't allow me to even have a beard. Maybe should have voted 'female' in the other thread.
Mine says the same. She starts nagging me after a few days of not shaving. After about a week, I'm ready to shave anyway. Gets a little itchy.
That's one thing that never happens to me for some reason I always get asked about it because It's common I guess, the itchiness I mean not the nagging lol.
I haven't been clean shaven for years. I always had some sort of facial hair since 17, now I'm sporting an oversized goatee with bushy sideburns and then go full beard for the cold season... Still, I wish I had a fuller/denser beard, damn genes. :wanker:
How do you go about interviews? Last job interview I was asked over the phone to attend CLEAN shaven! :bang:
