check these 140mm ones. i need a front guard however the new noctuas would go with my other four noctua fans and make my rig full on Aussie cooling. ---------
This industrial Noctua is one mofo fan, I didnt knew they even existed up until recently. I would get this over anything else atm :nerd: Im also thinking of replacing my Akasa vipers @ H90 cooler, should be quieter even with higher rpm
i totally agree. the 3000rpm one may be interesting on the d-14 though prolly not tbh, but you never know
Man I like the first fan the one with aluminium fins. I am willing to bet the first fan would move more air than the plastic ones. Depending on the price I might get 2 of them to replace my front 2 corsair fans. Edit: darn i guess they dont make the first fan any more.
Nah I had those in blue, it gets kinda loud even at 1000rpm. Has some specific sound that's not so pleasant to hear. Noctua is much quieter, heck even my Akasa Viper atm @ 1100rpm..
all noctua fans here - expensive but great if you can afford/allow your self to spend a bit more on fans. Can barely hear anything when idle/browsing the interwebs
My new junk arrives tomorrow i'll post a pic i can't even remember which fan i choose, looks ok though.
Yeah go with the Noctua fans! Always expensive, rarely outperformed in terms of airflow to noise ratio! I have to be patriotic here, at least a bit Jokes aside, they just released that new budget line with the grey color scheme, haven't had the time to check out reviews, but they might have created a nice B-rank line of products there. Also, of course, if you look into it, there might be other fans that perform similar to Noctuas, probably cost a little less, in case one can't get them. To my personal experience, if you can and want to spend the money, you can barely go wrong with Noctua's fans, but there's other options as well if you do some research. Some Scythe fans are nice, as well as Noiseblockers and probably a lot others, just depends on what you want to do with them (low noise, high airflow over noise, static preasure vs airflow, how many rpm, starting and lowest running voltage, pwm or dc controlled...)
it was a white 140mm Phanteks PH-F140HP i went for. will perhaps get another. Airflow: 88.6 CFM Sound Level: 19 dB
Cool, btw Bitfenix Spectre PRO PWM is ok too http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...-P14025KK-RP.html?tl=g36c365s1507&id=7yWZdW3s
I recently got an NF-F12 3000 industrial and dam does it push some air! It is loud though, even on the lowest speed setting of my fan controller.
