Hey guys, Ive been running my trusty old i7 920 D0, water cooled at 4.2 Ghz, she can do 4.4 but i dont like the heat.

Ive never had a build last me this long, and too be honest, she has done a fantastic job. But i think im ready to finally make an upgrade. Im considering pulling the trigger on a 5960x, rampage v, corsair dominator/plat.

I would like to keep my old CPU waterblock, the Koolance 380I, I have it on my x58/i7 920, and their site says it supports socket LGA 2011...Does this also mean it fits on 2011 v3 that the x99's use?

Yeah, should do, though you'll probably need the screw adapters that go with it. The distance between the screws and the holes in the X58 boards are the same.

The 380i is an awesome waterblock, the best i would say atm. I sent my 380i back for a Monoblock which should appear for X99 also. If i didnt have the monoblock i would deffo be running a 380i without a shadow of a doubt.:)
