Alright, this is the board to go for for Tri-SLI, as it allows all three cards a bit of breathing room with one slot free between them. The others are out, as they would force sandwiching the cards.
this is def the board for me. theyve out asused asus with style and extras. black i/o panel, the i/o and sound covers, the stream engine and dual headphone amps.. its just a nicer board than the others. just went to buy it off newegg.. wasn't up yet though the gaming 7 and sli are :/ e/ ordered! woot
According to these lines from the review, it doesn't say that you can do that: I agree with you, I would want Tri-CrossfireX at x16 / x0 / x16 / x0 / x8 But none of the listed configurations above use that third PCI-E slot. Does anyone know if you can do x16 / x0 / x16 / x0 / x8 on this board?
according to the manual, pci-e3 isn't suggested for any multiple card configuration. they could've just 86d that slot and put in more disco lights.
For reasons unknown this board has $119.99 shipping on NewEgg (with an option for $169.99 shipping) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130794
I didn't buy from Newegg but my shipping was nowhere close to that on the whole order which included the aforementioned MB, Processor, DDR4 and some other bits and pieces.
