Question about SLI 770

    Hi there! I am trying to get another 770, i already have a zotac 770 2gb, my question is, can i get a zotac 770 2gb amp!, and build a sli? Would it function properly?

    that would be fine, you'd still have 2gb usable vram though of course.

    Sure you can, also overclock first card to match amp clocks.

    It doesnt matter the different core and memo speed between them?

    no they'll perhaps have different base clocks and boost clocks but that's fine.
    you yould OC one so they have same boost clock, or flash them with same bios and they'll match in base and perhaps boost too.

    Thats is what i was afraid of, I am not an oc pro, is easy to oc the 770?
    Can I avoid the oc and make it run propertly?

    Yes you can, i just though they will be faster if you match their clocks (on the higher card). Not that you need to...

    no need to OC x2 770s they have nice fast ram too, so you're good to go.

    stock 760 ram - 6000
    stock 770 ram - 7000

    Max out the power target on both and set the temp to 95c. You can run the cards with the same clocks or different clocks vram too it doesn't matter anymore. If you want to run at the same clocks you will likely have to use a - or + offset.
