    I have at the moment a huge issue with my GPU driver. I cannot start CCC saying it "cannot find cli". Now this may not seem like a huge issue but problem is I cannot get it deinstalled whatever I do. Here's a list of things I tried;

    - Tried reinstalling Microsoft.NET

-Deinstalled it with the AMD driver cleanup utility, it finished with lots of noise from my fans going on and off with an error saying it has not completed succesfully and there was a report.

-Deinstalled it manually and it gets stuck on "Removing monitor drivers" it takes a long time usually 30 minutes and my screen turns on and off and my fans too.

When I manually deinstalled it and with the AMD Cleanup Utility its no longer in my programs list and my PC starts with lowest resolution and the AMD Radeon 4250 as used GPU instead of the Dual-crossfire setup consisting of two AMD Radeon HD 6850.

When I try and install the driver then it gets stuck on "Installing monitor driver" a BSOD'd appeared the first time (Didn't get a pic in time.) and whenever I try the whole procedure again it just restarts with a black screen first.

The only way I can make my drivers work to an extent I can use it when I restore it back to the point before I was with the faulty driver in which I cannot access CCC.

I already tried the /r/AMD in reddit but they have been rather bad with suggestions (As to why I reinstalled Microsoft.NET.)

Any help would really be appreciated.

EDIT: I would post the link for the report but first-time poster, sucks.
EDIT2: I just realized I probably put this in the wrong section, can a mod put in the AMD Driver section? I don't want to double post.

I'm sorry I forgot to mention that. I used that too but when I install a new driver the exact thing happens as described in the main post. Black screen and a reboot.

I have a log of it if you want to see.

    DDU Log part 1:http://pastebin.com/JV1U0quh
    DDU Log part 2:http://pastebin.com/XxD63h2m
    AMD Cleanup Report : http://pastebin.com/bdJUhwnT

Some parts are in dutch, but I think it shouldn't be too much of a issue.

can you try with just one GPU? you might have a bad pcie slot.

    How should I do that?

I'm sorry if this might sound stupid but i'm very inept with the hardware side of things of a PC since a friend of mine put it together.

    ah, gotcha.

if you open the case, you should see 2 long cards.

remove the one furthest from the cpu.

Does it matter which one? Both are kinda stacked up on the cpu. Also what the crap should I do with that weird crossfire cable.

I'm sorry but im helpless with this crap. What the hell should I do with those cables next to the GPU that seem to be going somewhere...

Hey man we all started at the beginning.

    no prob.

disocnnect and put aside the crossfire ribbon.

The cpu has the big fan on it. remove the one farthest away. they cant really be stacked up, as the the card slots are in a row.

make sure its off first. lol

You can upload a pic if you want.

one you've done that run ddu again, then re-install the drivers and see if it works.

if it does, swap out the card with the one you removed and try again.

if it works both times, then your cards are fine, and we can look at the mobo as the potential cause

get the motherboard model as well, so we can make sure its actually crossfire capable.

Also, while you are in there poking around, look at the powersupply and see if you can see what the manufacturer and wattage rating is.

I think the PSU is a Cooler Master with 700W

Also my motherboard is an ASRock 880G Extreme3, which has as far as I know has crossfire support.

your mobo has a 4250 IGP on it, thats what its detecting.

    disable it in bios.

4250 is legacy. 6850 is not. this is probobly where the problem is.

New drivers dont support legacy products, so it cant install properly.

I don't have any option to disable it. I'll give you some imgur pics of the options in the chipset settings.

What do you mean? It is currently set to UMA so its disabled?
As far as I know all it means is that it sucks up system ram instead of VRam and that it is not disabled.

Where is the option to disable it? I really can't find anything. The only thing closely resembling that is Onboard GPU override which is disabled as you see in the second link.

Are there no other options than UMA? That would be where I would expect the option to disable it would be.

There was UMA/Sideport/UMA + Sideport. The other options you can see in the picture.

Disabling the 4250 in Device manager is apparently as disabled as I can get it since there's no option in BIOS.

Also what I just noticed that the 4250 has a different driver version than the two 6850's.
